This is a small test - good for the first unit of your biology course. It's one of the first tests we created, so it doesn't have the bells and whistles (no nifty multiple-choice quiz program, no online grading) - but it's functional and a good place to start.
This online tutorial was developed by my biology teacher, Dr. Paul Decelles. It covers the major concepts without getting lost in the details, including basic chemistry, biochemistry, metabolism, photosynthesis, cellular respiration, cell reproduction/life cycles, protein synthesis and control of gene expression. It's a comprehensive guide with a good dose of humor - a great resource!
This online tutorial covers is broken out into four modules: molecules and cells, heredity and evolution, diversity and populations, and the structure and function of plants and animals. Also includes links to other free tutorials online.
